So, Fat Farmgirl is decidedly not foofoo. She doesn't go in for all that smelly, perfumy, powdery-girly stuff, and bubble baths are the perplexing domain of city girls who aren't always scrubbing mud off their heels and trying to pick hayseeds out of their hair! Then, one of my true besties in Sunny California told me that there's this big natural beauty outfit out West that sells fizzy bath bombs that are just as wonderful as mine, but they also offer a bubble bath bar that you throw into the tub along with the bath bomb for an extra special treat. I tinkered with this recipe for about a month before I finally got it perfected, and finally made a dozen of these half-pound (8 ounces!!!) treats to send to my Cali Bestie for product testing, but during packaging I broke a couple of them and decided to try one for myself in the tub instead of watching it in the soaping bowl. Oh, my holy heck!!! It's like bathing in a soft, bubbly, fragrant dessert! Just to make sure my first tub experience wasn't a fluke, I smashed one of those puppies on the floor whilst packing them to ship (Oops! I can't exactly mail damaged goods on purpose, now, can I???), and dutifully ran a steaming bath to properly dispose of it....And then swam around in the tub like a happy, silky seal for about an hour until the bubbles started to fade. I never imagined that a bath could be so much fun! Who knew that a heavenly bubble bath could come in such a neat little package? Or that this Fat Farmgirl had such soft, glowing skin hiding underneath a day's working grime!
